Saturday 17th March 2011, saw the largest new moon for 20 years. Unfortunately the sky was covered with thin cloud, and aeroplane trails. This image is created from exposures upto 30seconds, showing the foreground lit almost as if daylight. The streetlight glow of Cambridge, and Waterbeach can be seen, in the sky. A few stars are just visible.
