Commentary
This shows the River Cam in flood at Milton. This was the second time in 6 months the river had flooded. Large sections of the river were flooded from Chesterton to Waterbeach. Since this is one of my early panoramas, there are a few flaws in the joins, and exposures.
Compatibility Error: Failed to insert panoramic viewer defaulting to flat image.

Heron
The Heron is regularily seen over the Fields behind the Country Park and along the River Cam. This Heron was caught in flight on the far bank of the river just north of Milton.

As winter snow melts, the river level rises quickly, the central gates at Baits Bite Lock are opened, increasing the water flow.
