Commentary

This photo shows the view from the Foot Bridge over the lock. The small yellow boat belongs to the Cam River Conservatory, and is dredging mud from the river bed. There are three sections, the lock itself, a storm gate, and a weir. The weir set the river level between Milton and Cambridge.
